Questions About Controversy

Oh my gosh it's time to jump in! What do I want to say?
Kaitlyn Rae Vargo. "US Army Soldiers HALO Jumping in Okinawa". 8-4-04 via Wikipedia. Public domain.
WHO
Who are the most successful women entrepreneurs? (top 5?)
Who are the most outspoken advocates for gender equality in startups?
Are there any men (or women) who publicly support the gender gap? Why?
Where do women have the best and worst chances to succeed?
Is there a particular demographic of women that has the best shot?

WHAT
What are the challenges that women entrepreneurs face?
What are the numbers? Is the gap a myth?
What are people doing about the gap? Are any big companies taking action?
What can people who don't identify as women do to support the women?
What are the rules (if any) about gender in startups?

WHEN
When did this become something that people were paying attention to?
When did women (the successful ones) start making it big?
Was there ever a time when there was gender equality in startups? (or anything?)
If anybody is doing anything about this, when did they start trying to help?
When do we expect things to change?

WHERE
Where are all the women? (The population is about 51% women.. they must be somewhere...)
Where are women making it big? Where are they fizzling?
Where are there actual laws keeping women out of startups?
Where do women go for help? Are there resources?
Where is the money going?

HOW
How can we make things change?
How did things get so bad to begin with? (or did they just start bad..?)
How do the women feel?
How do the men feel about this?
How is anybody trying to solve this problem?
